hiya. So the rest of this week was good. On thursday I met up with Phil for coffee (Phil actually had coffee, which is unusal cos normally people having coffee have something thats not coffee.) We went to Cafe Conor's which was nice and chatted about the whole starting university thing, whoch was good too. Then I went shopping in forestside with my friend Jen. Then i went home for a few hours and went back to Methody in time for junction.
Junction started up last year in methody, its kind of a discussion group for the boarders in fourth form up. It meets every thursday night for an hour and we have tea and coffee and biscuits and chat about different things. Last week we played ice-breakers and got to know Chris boucher who is the youth worker in lisburn rd methodist and did tom team (year 11 so 4 years ago??) It went really well. Very relaxed very fun and we got a good number of boarders there. Next week we are going to talk about is christianity just about DON'TS. Which i am looking forward to.
Then on Friday i came home and watched Bring it on, cheerleading film - a nice wee girly film to watch, and then i did some last minute prep for kids club this morning.
Kids club went ok. We had ten kids there and they seemed to have a good time and they listened really well to the talk and the story, they even were suggesting things that Gods love is bigger than - michael said the world, Kyle said an elephant and faye said the world. Todays catchphrase was "Gods love never stops God loves no matter what. " So kids Club was alright.
After kids club we went shopping and i got some stuff for starting Stranmillis tomorrow, pencilcase and files and things. Then we came home and watched old videos of me and nicky as kids, and i realised just how strange i was when i was wee. However the videos were hilarious!
so thats been my week so far, not very exciting but it has been good.
