so castlewellan is over for another year. It was a good week but both different to what i had expected and the other years that i have done. I was leading the 6-8s group with paul - which was different because i had to lead my team and also not have a small group of children to work with (which is what i love about kids work) but it was good, and i still was able to build up good relationships with the kids. I also didnt spend as much time just hanging about with the team as i have done in previous years - everything just seemed much busier...

Highlights of Castlewellan
: working with my 6-8s
: getting to know the new people on yc team and catching up with the old timers
: paul wearing a bra
: cake decorating
: team day to newcastle - slippery dip, amusements and dodgems are so much fun (although not wehen stevo doesnt keep his arms inside the vechile!)
: Being part of the prayer minstry team for the last couple of nights.

Since castlewellan i have had the most horrendous cold which has morphed (as of today) into a chesty cough - not pleasant, but it didnt stop me from going to the tom leaving party last night - which was fun.

The excitment to come - geting my hair cut tomorrow (jud is coming for moral support) and J24/7.
