i got back from avoca last night about half past five. There was a couple there from newtownards so they very kindly gave me a lift home which was great because it meant that i didnt need to worry about the buses.

Avoca was really good. The kids were lovely. We only had about 15 of them ranging from just turned 4 to about 12. We based our programme around two of the wemmick books, you are special and if only i had a green nose. We looked at how we are all made differently, we are all special, we all have different gifts but there is no one gift that is better than any other. It was a lovely and relaxed weekend.

Highlights of the weekend were
- playing with the self service check-outs in tescos in arlow - amazing - i think the north needs them.
- laughing at the kids getting so exciting at looking at northern "pretend" money!
- going for coffee... lots.
-the litllest kids getting so excited about everything.
- laurence graham being so very cheeky to everyone.
- hanging out with paul and nicola.

think we are heading down to dublin shopping tomorrow and then edinburugh on friday for the weekend. fun!
