i have no idea why that last blog was so huge! Really no call for writing that big at all.

Last night i went out for a walk and ice-cream and coffee with Ruth and cheryl. We went to Bangor which is obviously the place to be because we bumped into aimee who had also bumped into guys she knew. Bangor is the place to be it seems. So we went for a walk around pickie pool and way round that corner and then for ice cream in mauds and then on the way home we stopped at the cultra inn for coffee, which was lovely. It was nice to catch up - ruth has been away on a cruise and cheryl had been in glasgow so it was nice to hear all their news.

We were chatting about lots of different things and it came up about midlands and southern district weekend which is at halloween in avoca. I'm thinking about going down to it to help with the kids programme (paul has asked me) but it means not going to autumn soul, which i usually steward at. But with lots of people being away next year my other thought is what if i'm needed as a female leader for knock to go, even though i've siad im not doing any more big youth leading events after summer madness. But then i supose i cant base my life around the what ifs.... thats what i did this summer and meant that i didnt go to Dresden when i would have loved to. So im pondering all this at the minute. Also mixed in with all these thoughts is the advice that a friend gave me at madness about using my time on things that are my gifting and things that i enjoy doing rather than doing things because someone needs to step up and do them. So rather than be forced (because sometimes it does feel like being forced) into someone elses shoes to find my own. I dont have to decided soon which is nice though, Pauls in Tanzania so i wont need to tell him till he comes back.

Bought a very exciting thing for kids club today - egg and spoon race sets from elc, they are plastic and when the egg drops it breaks and a wee bean bag in the shape of a yolk falls out. Very Cool.

ONLY 30 HOURS TO HARRY POTTER AND THE HALF BLOOD PRINCE - SO EXCITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
