castlewellan is over now for another year. This was my 4th year on team and as always it was a different experience. Leading 6-8s again was great, i didn't use half the stuff id planned but it was all good.

Things i loved
- meeting the awesome 6-8s (old and new) and becoming their friend
- watching Nicky working with Nathan
- seeing the leaders in my team growing in confidence
- late night worship
- King of love mime with the 6-8s in morning worship
- King of love again and sending out prayer with the parents on the Friday night
- ice cream sundaes with friends
- catching up with Paul and Nicola
- Newcastle- playing on the dodgems, adopting a young heffalump called oliver
- my scare war with chris neilands (he's just like my little brother)
- having Keith's wee Thomas in my small group and the way he said PamElaa!
- Praying with stephen ralph
- chatting through God stuff with Chris Neilands
- the castlewellan song
- the family atmosphere of the methodist church
- feeling like im where God wants me to be
- the beauty of castlewellan
- drawing closer to God

Things i didnt love so much
- having eggs smashed on my head
- being soaked with water
- putting my feet in buckets of grossness
- leaky tents
- lack of sleep
- damp towels
- finding out that half of the clothes i'd packed were actually nicky's!

But despite those things i love castlewellan. I was chatting to SU Sam during the week and he said how chw felt like coming home for him. I have to say i agree.

Other things i've done this week

- Sun night crossroads church - nice for a change.
- Monday - town with michael, stephen and nic
- pizza hut and charlie and the Chocolate factory with Knockers Michael, Kaleb and Alan.
- So much fun - so glad Kaleb came, not sure about the new ending of the film but apart from that :)
- Tuesday - J24 meeting at colins

All fun and games.
