If i were in Harry Potter I've always thought that i would be hermione. I have a very impressive pile of books that need to be read for my Play assignments (its not all fun and games - quite a misleading module name.) But i just dont seem to have the motivation to get stuck in, which at this stage of the day i really need to have.
Have started to think about next year - choosing modules and picking dissertation subject and the like. I think id like to do a philosophy and ethics module, but the other module i really want to do is a religion in contemporary society module but its only a half module and would mean that i would have to do a textual study of luke and acts - which to be honest i just cant face. I did Luke for AS and A2 levels and also in 2nd year in stran so i really dont want to do it again. Although is philosophy and ethics too hard a module to pick - when in final year i want to pass well?
Spent all day yesterday making a Storyboard - an interactive storytelling device. I'm quite pleased with it. Its based on the story of Little Red Riding Hood and its a backdrop of a forest with a path leading from little reds cottage to Grandma's house. The characters are laminated and you move them around the board as you tell the story.
The bit im most excited about is that Grandmas house opens up like a book and inside there is a bed with a real material cover that you can put granny or the wolf into and also a wardrobe big enough for granny to be locked inside.
But here's the question - in little red riding hood should the wolf eat the granny and little red riding hood and have the woodcutter cut the wolf open and them they jump out, or lock them in the wardrobe? Basically gory version or friendly version?
